As Reported by Hindustan Times ,the present scenario is that "The environment ministry’s expert appraisal committee scrutinised a stretch of the project for its nod and deferred the proposal for want of information"

and so by raising a voice of Change through Signature Petitions the Adminstration of the Government of Maharashtra led by its Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will act logically ,scientifically and adopt this alternative as has been done by him in the past in case of #SaveAareyForest for #MumbaiMetro project by ordering new plantations

and also Minister of Environment Dr HARSH VARDAN will get into action ,Also the idea will be reiterated into the ears of the NGT National Green Tribunal of INDIA.

Of now Central Minister Nitin Gadkari has been conveyed about this idea or alternative solution of not re planting but #TREETRANSPLANTING which is scientific though a bit expensive and has been practised in India too in the State of Kerala and Hyderabad in the past for similar Construction based Project .

*************Why 1 Lakh tree cutting in Maharashtra for 258km stretch of Mumbai-Nagpur Expressway a MAJOR concern to the Environment ?

- This e-way will also run through a 10-km eco-sensitive zone that includes two wildlife sanctuaries and cut through 166 hectares of forest land.

- This 258km alignment, which will run through three districts — Amravati, Washim and Buldhana — will also traverse through two wildlife sanctuaries, Katepurna and Karanja Sohal Blackbuck wild life sanctuary, and cut through 166 hectares of forest land.

-It further observed that more than 90% of the land under this stretch is productive agriculture or forest land.

B) FARMERS CAN BE DONATED A TREE IN THEIR FARMLAND WHICH HAS NOT BEEN SOWN YET FOR SHADE PURPOSES AT ONE CORNER OF THEIR FIELD.

C) LEFT OVER TREES CAN BE RE PLANTED ON THE EDGES OF THE HIGHWAY STRETCH ALREADY COMPLETED

What to avoid when coming to a WG or appartment:

It is common that Students share appartments - this can be in a privately rented appartment or in a student dorm.

It is not part of the culture to share rooms, so you will stay in your own room and share the bathroom/kitchen with the others. If you want to bring your collegue, girlfriend or other to live with you for the semester or a prolonged period of time your flatmates will probably not like it.

What Students living in the dorm or WGs like:

Be nice?

Usually people will want to meet you before you can move in. - They have to put up with you, right? (So it can be easier to get temproary housing and then meet people.)

How much should I pay?

Rent typically consitsts of these parts:

Rent (Kaltmiete): In Hamburg: 5€-9€ per squaremeter

Costs for facilities: 3-5€ per squaremeter

Costs for heating: 0-2€ per squaremeter- usally goes together with costs for facilities, but can be extra

Costs for Internet - usually extra (ask)

Costs for electrical power - usally extra (ask)

Should be maxium 3times Rent(Kaltmiete) - everything else is scam

Where should I live?

If you find something: Take it!

Don't be too picky about it. The room situation is terrible in Hamburg
